What do we mean by:

1 day hire
Pick up anytime on a day 1 and return anytime on a day 2 (eg: Friday to Saturday) - timing subject to other bookings = if the equipment is due to be returned on the day of your pick up or to be hired to subsequent hirer on the day of your return, we might set a time restrictions on your hire, but we will advice you about this in advance.
3 day/weekend hire
Pick up anytime on Friday, return anytime on Monday - timing subject to other bookings.
1 week hire
Pick up anytime on a day 1, return anytime on a day 8 (eg: Wednesday to Wednesday) - timing subject to other bookings.
RENTaCAM's SAMEDAY
Pick up anytime during the day, return strictly by 6pm. Can not be combined with any other special or discount. Please make sure you mention this offer when placing your order.
RENTaCAM's OVERNIGHT
Pick up on a day 1 anytime after 6pm, return on a day 2 strictly by 9am. Can not be combined with any other special or discount. Please make sure you mention this offer when placing your order.

How can I place an order?

Where are you located?
We are located at No 1 Ellis Ave in Alexandria, next door to Bourke Street Bakery on Gardeners rd, just 5km from Sydney CBD area, 2km from Domestic Airport. From CBD it takes less than 10 minutes to drive or around 20 minutes by public transport (buses 309, 310). Mascot train station is about 6 minutes walk.
There's plenty of free parking, just drive in.

I can't make it to pick up from you. Can you deliver?
Yes we can. For greater Sydney we either use a courier or deliver ourselves, for places further away we use Express post Platinum with next business day delivery guaranteed (please let us know your post code and we'll find out if it fits to AuPost's area for this service).

Yes, even interstate. We deal with customers in Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane and even Perth every week.
I'd like to take your equipment overseas. Is this OK? Is there a surcharge for this?
Yes, it is OK and no, there's no surcharge. This year alone our gear shot events in Singapore, Japan, England, France, Spain, USA and toured New Zealand, Thailand, Nepal, Chile and Argentina. We do recommend you to get a proper travel insurance though.
Do you charge deposit or pre-authorize credit card?
No, currently we do not. We will however record your credit card number and we will keep it until the equipment gets back. No funds will be transfered or pre-authorized when hiring. As much as we trust you - the photographers, we need to protect ourselves too. We will only process the payment if the equipment comes back damaged, does not come back in time and you fail to contact us, or does not come back at all.
We do take some time to verify our customers and if you are a new customer and in particular circumstances, we do reserve the right to charge a part of or the whole deposit. We will advise you about that within 24hrs from your first enquiry.
Are the listed prices inclusive of GST?
Yes, all prices right through the website do include GST.
How can I pay? Do you accept credit cards?
We do accept cash, eftpos and credit card (with no additional surcharge). If you'd like to use any other method, please let us know. We're happy to accept bank transfer, not so happy about cheques. Payment is to be made in Australian dollars in advance - on pick up or prior our delivery or courier.
If you happen to extend the hire of the equipment, please let us know and we will run the payment on the credit card provided on the pick up day.
Do you offer insurance?
Yes we do. In short, for 5% of rental fees every piece of rental gear will get insurance with $500 excess. Please talk to our office or check out our terms and condition for all the details.
What's your cancellation policy?
We understand your jobs, assignments, shoots can get postponed or canceled. Please let us know as soon as you find out. There's no fee for cancellations over 2 days prior the hire. If you do cancel a day before, you will be charged 25% of the total, for on the day cancellation you will be charged 50% of the total. We're happy to use this fee against your next hire if it comes within 3 months from the cancellation.
No show ups?
You will be charged for the full amount as per booking.
Returning late and failed to let us know/extend the hire?
1 day rental will be charged for each late day.
Do you run client's accounts?
No, not at this stage.
